SmokeLong Quarterly

At the end of April the lovely and talented writer Katie McClendon was generous enough to create an opportunity to collaborate. A flash fiction piece by McClendon had been accepted by SmokeLong Quarterly, so she put a call out any visual artist friends willing to whip up an illustration to accompany her words. I jumped at the chance to created a drawing in response to her piece, "The Easy Arm of Adam," for a number of reasons, two of which being Katie is a stand up gal and she also happens to be a stand up writer.
